"During this past 2007 construction season the Stand Alone video monitoring system has been employed at all of our Calgary and Area job sites, up to a maximum of 13 sites at any one time, plus our equipment parking and storage area. During the operating time we enjoyed a significantly reduced level of vandalism.

Stand Alone personal attended weekly at the sites to service and check the equipment and responded very quickly to requests to move units as construction dictated. Stand Alone provided video footage of incidents when requested.

"Prior to Stand Alone arriving on site we were experiencing numerous acts of vandalism to our construction equipment.

A representative came to our site on very short notice, set up the video monitoring system and provided an in-depth orientation of the system.  Within a week Stand Alone captured on video two acts of vandalism.  A representative from Stand Alone came to the site immediately and provided a DVD of the evening’s events.  Additional copies were provided and given to the local police services.  The police officer commented that the clarity of the video for night operations was incredible and was able to use the video in their follow up investigation.

Since that time we have not experienced any more acts of vandalism and the Video Prevention System has definitely acted as a deterrent to additional events occurring."
